What a busy last few weeks we've had!

We started the term off with an exciting visit to The National Space Centre in Leicester which kicked off our 'Stargazers' topic. Everyone had a wonderful day - we explored the excellent exhibitions; took a trip to the top of the terrifying rocket tower and we star-gazed at the superb sky show in the planetarium.

Next, it was Science Week. We spent the week investigating why birds lay eggs (below, you will see some photos of us eggsploring eggs); writing a biography on the incredible Isaac Newton and we even got to make our own ice cream. During the week, we were lucky enough to be paid a visit by a member of the team from Gallone's Ice Cream Parlour. We tried some very unusual flavours including rose and grass - we didn't think they would be very popular in the shop!

Finally, our attendance has been GREAT again this term! As a reward, we spent a Friday afternoon playing games that we brought in from home. Mr Morris regretted allowing 'Pie Face' to be brought into the classroom - what a mess!
