We had a great assembly sharing all our work from our Road Trip USA topic. It all finished with us sharing our class videos where we had created an advertisement for a holiday to Florida. This linked in with work we had been doing in English writing persuasive holiday brochures before getting the green screen treatment to create our big screen advertisements.

For those of you who couldn't make the assembly see our video using the link below. We hope you enjoy!

Welcome to Florida CG

Welcome to 4CGs class page.

Year 4 had a brilliant start to the school year when we introduced our topic of Road Trip USA and came together for a memorable “WOW” day. The children thoroughly enjoyed dressing up and sampling lots of delicious American style treats at our Thanksgiving Day party. We are looking forward to learning lots more about America over the coming weeks.

The children were excited to start reading and received their new reading records. We are looking forward to earning lots of points for reading 10 minutes every day. In English we are reading An Indian in the Cupboard and the children are enjoying the story so far and working on ‘sentence stacking’. In maths we are working on number and place value and the children have made an excellent start.

Keep checking into our page to find out about the different topics we will be learning about this year. I look forward to meeting you all at the first parents evening in October.

Welcome to Mrs Guest's class. We are a mixed gender class of 15 year 3 children and 15 year 4 children.

We have been working hard sentence building in our English lessons and the children love to see examples of their work displayed around the classroom.

We enjoy learning new methods in maths and using our knowledge to solve calculations and problems.

We have started our new history topic on Romans and will be learning all about how they invaded Britain and how they lived.

In science we have just completed our States of Matter topic learning about solids. liquids and gases and we will be shortly looking forward to starting electricity.

We have some keen musicians in our class who play various instruments and others who love to attend sports clubs. We are a very happy and hardworking class.
